For a long while I was a contributing writer over at The Bold Italic, a web mag that was an up-and-coming (do people still take that phrase seriously? I hope so) San Francisco zeitgeist that THEN went under but THEN got revived and is now alive and well again (phew).

I have written several "viral" pieces for them, the most popular being the one about moving to San Francisco that broke down each neighborhood that one could live in.

The traffic broke their website (millions of views and counting) and garnered 200,000+ likes on Facebook (without a single buy), which is like the Internet giving you a hug. People still tell me to this day that they used it to move to San Francisco, which worries me.

I also wrote this, and this, and this. And I plan to write more.
